Devotional Thought: What would happen if your mom told you to clean your room, and you watched TV instead? What would happen if your dad told you to do your homework, and you played with Legos instead? My guess is that things would not go well for you. You may get punished, you may get a lecture, or you may get a bad grade in the class. Your parents are leading you and giving directions because they are trying to keep you safe and make you into who God wants you to be. Just like road signs give us directions and keep us safe, your parents have a similar job. Therefore, you should listen to them. Taking Action: Take a drive around town and look at all the road signs. On the road Bingo sheet on the back, write what purpose the sign has. What could happen if we ignored the sign?
