Occasional Meals
TEAM MEALS: REQUEST FOR APPROVAL NCAA legislation permits institutions to provide their student-athletes with a meal provided by institutional staff, provided permission is obtained from the Office of Compliance, the sport’s supervisor, and Head Coach. Please note the following: 1. Each meal opportunity is specific to the student-athlete; 2. Approval must be obtained from the Office of Compliance and Sport Administrator; and 3. Reimbursements for meals will not be processed if they have not been approved by the Office of Compliance. Meals Incidental to Participation: An institution may provide meals to student-athletes as a benefit incidental to participation in intercollegiate athletics. An institution shall not provide student-athletes with a meal and cash for the same meal.
