Sunday, October 22, 2017 This week at White Stone…
Welcome! We feel very privileged to have you join us today at White Stone. We worship and serve an amazing God, and it is our desire that each person who walks into this building realizes how much God loves them. Our God is not a distant God, but a perfect Father who wants to interact with us on an intimate level. Unfortunately, the broken world we live in has caused us to live out our lives with broken identities. Thankfully, though, God has gone to great lengths so that when we truly encounter Him miraculously, He gives us a new identity and a new name. From that point on, our lives are powerfully renewed and profoundly different. We begin to experience life the way God intends it to be. Adult Class Background to the Messiah During 2nd service As with anyone we meet, the more you know about their background and history, the more you understand who they truly are. The same with Jesus. He entered into a specific time in history, and knowing about them helps bring the Gospels to life! Retirement of Debt October 2014: $767,439 May 2017: $570,000 Current Debt: $380,000 If you feel led to help eliminate this debt, donations designated for “debt reduction” will go directly to paying down the mortgage.
Newcomers Lunch If you are new or relatively new to White Stone, please join us for an informational lunch on November 5, 5 after 3rd service upstairs in the large classroom. Come meet the staff, ministry leaders and Elders. Please sign up at the Info Desk so we can get an accurate count.
Men’s Quarry 6:30— 6:30—8:30pm every Tuesday Men’s Bible Study, Large Classroom. Please sign up and pick up a flyer at the Info Desk.
Christmas Eve Services
Operation Christmas Child The greatest gift we have received is Jesus. But there are children who don’t really understand what that gift means. Operation Christmas Child allows our church body to give physical gifts to children, but more importantly, offer the Opportunity to learn about Jesus. Pick up a box and pamphlet today. Fill the box and pray for the child who will receive it. Return the box to church by November 12.
Christmas Eve falls on a Sunday this year. We will be holding the following services:
9:30 am 11:00 am 12:30 pm 2:00 pm
