SWA provided urban design and landscape architectural services for the second island, the Palm Jebel Ali—an unparalleled getaway for both residents and visitors, featuring an array of luxury hotels, water homes, beachside villas, shoreline apartments, and entertainment and leisure activities. Built on over 1,000 acres of reclaimed land, the Palm Jebel Ali consists of a trunk and fronds, framed by a crown and four crescent islands that serve as a breakwater, creating an internal lagoon suitable for swimming and passive water-based recreation.
