Fusong Spring is the precious mineral water source for Nongfu Spring water bottle company. Believing that there is an inherent conflict in the idea of creating a secure, protected clean source of water for the bottling factory and allowing hundreds or even thousands of visitors to walk around in the spring water capture area; the proposed design solutions needed to resolve this contradiction. SWA suggested creating: 1) a unique noninvasive circulation system; 2) one powerful idea to govern the whole site; 3) an artistic, surrealistic and hi-tech design; 4) intriguing ways to move visitors around to break the evenness of the forest space and 5) high contrast in terms of color and materials.
