 Toy Drive o Toys for the toy drive should come to school in the original package and not gift wrapped. o

Thanks to everyone for your generosity!!!!! We will have two boys basketball games in which you can bring a new toy in to cover your admission to our 5th Grade boys basketball game. Those two games are on 12/6/16 and 12/12/16.

 5th Grade Cheerleading o Misty Birner and Kylah Morgan will be the 5th Grade co-coaches this season. o There will two days of practices, December 5 and 6, from 3:30-5:00 and try-outs will be on Wednesday December 7 from 3:30-5:00. The practices and try-outs will be held in the Maconaquah Elementary Group Room. At the end of the try out session on December 7 the coaches will talk to the girls individually and inform them if they made them team or not and what they will need to improve upon to try out next year. The girls do not need to have physicals on file to try out, but if they make the team they must have a physical on file by no later than December 12, 2016 to participate. o If you have questions specific to next week's practices/try-outs, please contact Coach Birner at 260-377-9026 or Coach Morgan at 765-475-3078.  5th Grade Boys Basketball Results o A Team: Mac-46 St Pats-4  Leading Scorers: Jacob Isley-10, Braxton Birner-8, MJ Ellis-8 o B Team: Mac-16 St Pats-2  Leading Scorers: Evan Spohn-6, Dalton Meyer-6  Parent Access to Skyward o Parents will receive directions at parent teacher conferences on how to access their child's grades through Skyward, our new online student management system. Beginning with the 2nd nine weeks, parents will be able to access Skyward and check their child's grades online. Please note that Mac El teachers are required to update grades at least every two weeks in the online gradebook.  Device Insurance

o If you would like to purchase insurance for your child’s device please send in a $25 check made out to Maconaquah Elementary School with your child’s name on it. If you have any questions call 765-689-9131 ext. 3005. o Insurance Cost is $25/student for the 16-17 school year.  School Fees o Parent/Guardians – You can now pay your child’s lunch balance and Laptop/Ipad insurance at https://eps.mvpbanking.com/cgi-bin/efs/login.pl?access=55861. o Note – For your “Family ID #” you will need to use your child’s “Student ID #” for this field.  Mark your calendar: o December 6  5BBB vs. Tri-Central at Mac EL. 6:00pm Start Time.  Toy Drive Game: You can bring a newly packaged toy in lieu of a ticket for admission for your game. o December 7  5BBB vs. Southwood/Northfield at Mac EL. 6:00pm o December 8  5th Grade Concert @ MHS Auditorium  6:00Pm – Knolinski, Lorenz, Walsh  7:15PM – Bingham, Harmon, Schrader, Shone Mac El is now on Twitter!
