Product Management Associate - Job Ref No HST222 Responsibilities Working as part of the HeartSine Sales and Marketing department, the successful applicant will be required to provide assistance within the Product Management Team to position HeartSine’s reputation and standing in the global AED market as the leading provider of Public Access Defibrillators. The position will provide experience and training in an increasingly sought after aspect of product development. As well as providing assistance in the preparation and maintenance of documentation for new product features and new product release, the successful candidate will attend and contribute to internal design reviews and the investigation and analysis of competitor products and systems. For applicants with previous experience of (or can demonstrate sufficient aptitude in) electronics or medical devices, the opportunity exists to become involved in design and development activities. This is an exciting opportunity to participate in the production of a life-saving product.
General Applicant Requirements Applicants should be studying for a third level qualification in either design engineering, electronics, biomedical engineering or a related discipline. The successful candidate will also require good team working skills. Knowledge or experience of general electronics hardware would be useful.
Specific Applicant Requirements Ideal candidates would be students from an engineering/design background with aspirations for commercial product development. The successful applicant will be assigned their own projects and will be fully responsible for their oversight and management. Therefore the ability for the candidate to demonstrate initiative, work on their own and communicate effectively (in both written and verbal formats) is essential for this role. Good technical analytical skills, attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure against tight deadlines are key job requirements.
