Nothing brightens my day like colorful patchwork! April’s project is a little bit of happiness for your room. It’s also a great way to begin learning about the wonderful world of quilting. There is no end to the great projects you can do with quilting! You might like this project so much that you decide to come to my Quilt Camp this summer. Supplies: Sewing Machine in good working order* Foot control and power cord Everything on your General Supply List* 14” pillow form, available at Hobby Lobby or JoAnn 3 coordinating fat quarters Mettler polyester thread to match fabric* 1 yard coordinating fabric for the back of the pillow Skills Learned: “Piecing” a pillow top (sewing fabric shapes together to form a design) Envelope style pillow back (great because it’s easy to take the pillow form out so you can wash the pillow cover)
