Sacred Heart Reception Newsletter Issue 21– Friday 9th March
Special Visitors We have had 2 special visitors this week...Chris Paisley and Toby Bowes! Gorgeous baby Toby was born 1 week ago today and is doing very well along with Mrs Bowes. The children were so excited to meet him (photos attached).
Reception Class Visit Next Friday (16th March) is both Reception classes Spring Term visit. We are going to the Hancock Museum to take part in the ‘Dinky Dinos’ workshop. This involves learning about different types of dinosaurs and activities such as fossil hunting. The children will wear school uniform and will need a packed lunch. We are very excited!
Toys in SchoolCan we please ask that children do not bring toys to school in their bags. It in unfair for others to see children with their own toys, and there is a high chance that they will be lost or broken throughout the day.
Liturgies The arrangements for post liturgy refreshments is changing this term, and if parents would like to continue the tradition of having refreshments after a liturgy, we are asking parents to kindly volunteer to do this for their child’s liturgy. Please let your child's class teacher know if you’re available and would like to serve refreshments at the upcoming liturgies. (see dates below).
