High Pressure Nozzle Installation Instructions for SR-60 machines # 1 - 80 Burners were modified at / around serial # 80 to make it easier to remove the nozzles. SR-60’s that fall in that category will need to make some minor modifications in order to run the high pressure nozzles. If the elbow has a welded nut to thread into, you will not need to modify your burners. This is for SR-60’s that do not have a threaded nut welded to the wall that separates the mixing bell and the elbow. Estimated time to install – 2 hours Tools needed – Dye grinder or drill w/ 5/8” bit, grinder, misc. wrenches, screw drivers

Nozzle Installation Instructions – Cont’d Step 1 – Remove heater from carriage. Step 2 – Remove backing plate. *Center burners may have a couple small spot welds that will need to be grinded in order to remove.

Step 3 – Using a dye grinder, or drill and 5/8” drill bit, hollow out hole so the threaded section of the elbow can pass freely. *Using your grinder, clean all rough edges that may cause the nozzle to not sit flush.

Step 4 – Place two washers on the elbow, then push through the modified hole. *Washers will be necessary to achieve proper spacing between the mixing bell and nozzle.

Step 5 - Thread nut on the other side of the wall and tighten to keep in place.

Step 6 – Re-assemble the plumbing, and check for any leaks. After re-mounting burners, set pressure on third stage regulator to 7 psi. 3
