Stand FIRM A WORD FROM PASTOR MARIE Every new year, people begin searching for some catch word to incite their spirits regarding what will happen for that year. Perhaps, that is a good concept, however, a better idea is in making solid determinations throughout the year to be obedient to God’s Word and simply walk in His Spirit. Amazingly when we obey His commands, which are not suggestions but rather proven “rules for good living”; life becomes less complicated. So with another challenging year ahead, allow me to offer you this 2012 caution and a loving challenge from God’s Word: “Be on guard. Stand firm in the faith. Be courageous. Be strong. And do everything with love.” 1 Corinthians 16:13-14 NLT

My 2012 prayer for you is this: “I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in Him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit.” Romans 15:13 NLT Be blessed,

Almighty God. What a testimony of faithfulness in the lives of the many who have converted from Buddhism and to the many who are being persecuted for their faith in places such as Laos. At all cost – they came to worship together. The intensity of their worship was overwhelming for us westerners; and their testimonies were gripping.
