What is the national vision? 1. 65,000 new jobs 2. Subsidy via Energy Company Obligation (£1.3 billion per annum) & introductory offer (£200 million) 3. Carbon reduction target (29% in homes by 2022 - on 2008 levels) 4. Green Deal Homes target (7 million homes by 2020) 5. FiT review, RHI and Building Regs. 2010 6. What retrofit measures are we talking about?

One example – Solid Wall Insulation • Huge solid wall insulation market • 2.3 million installations needed by 2020 • According to the governments innovation and growth team, 30,000 installations over 2011 • By 2015 this should be 120,000 = Growing market by 4 times in 4 years
