Welcome back to the start of another year! We are glad to be back and welcome the newest class of Bobcats. A new year always brings a new level of excitement. This year, for us, it’s joining the Sun Belt Conference. It’s with great anticipation that we move forward into this conference to face a new set of opponents. Our Cross Country team kicked off their season by competing at Baylor Aug. 30. We definitely have reloaded on both the men’s and women’s squad. We’ve added many freshmen and transfers along with our returners. It will be great to see how our Bobcats measure up against the rest of the Sun Belt Conference. Since school has started, the beginning of track practice has begun as well. We have a large class of incoming freshman and a few transfers to add to our returning track squad. Everyone is ready to get going and make this year even better than last year. We are excited to play host to the Sun Belt Outdoor Track and Field Conference Championships. We recently added lights to our stadium to enhance our facility. We hope you will come out and support your Bobcats throughout the season but especially for the Sun Belt Championships. We are looking forward to excelling this year both in the classroom and on the track! The Bobcats are on the prowl. Please help us make this the best year ever by making a donation to the Golden Spike Club. Your support is always appreciated and everything goes towards enhancing the experience of these student-athletes.
