UFO Challenge

Has Spring Cleaning hit your sewing room and left you with some exposed UFO’s? You know those unfinished projects that like to hide in the cubbies, closets, drawers, or even in plain sight! Well join the In Between Stitches Crew as we work to get those UFO’s under control. The UFO Challenge…choose FOUR of the projects that you want to complete between May and January 1, 2015. This challenge involves completing quilts while competing for Fat Quarters….we are sure you unearthed one or two in your Spring Cleaning. Email your list of four quilts to In Between Stitches ([email protected]) or drop off a list to In Between Stitches (be sure to number your UFO’s 1, 2, 3, 4) By May 1, 2014. On May 5th you will receive an email with the number of the UFO to work on for May and June. On July 1st, email a completed photo to us or come in and share. Completed quilt means a top that is all complete or even one that is quilted. July 5th we will email you with the next UFO, you will have until September 1st. Third UFO will begin September 5th, complete by November 1st, Fourth will be announced November 5th and the finished project will be due by January 1st. How does the competition work…well the “Buy In” is 4 Fat Quarters (one for each UFO project). If you complete a quilt top your name goes into the pot to win a fat quarter bundle, if you do not complete a UFO you will “owe” us a fat quarter, thus making the next months bundle even larger. At the end of the Challenge In Between Stitches will draw 3 winners from all finished UFO entries to win Gift Certificates to the store. We will give away 3 $50 Gift Certificates.
