Student Services Members in Attendance: Brian Valentine, Student Life Advisor Guest(s):; Todd Hughes, Student Body President John Knoe, Attorney General;; Zack Stroup, Chief Justice Alex Benishek, Senate Applicant; Barry Callahan, Senate Applicant. Call to Order:  Jon Campbell chairs the Senate Meeting  Jon Campbell calls the Senate Meeting to order at 5:10 pm Amendments to the Meeting Agenda:  Jon Campbell states that he sent out an email regarding the addition of the confirmation hearing of the Chief Financial Officer position to the agenda.  Kaitlyn Daniel motions to approve the agenda. Broc Fernandez seconds. The motion passes unanimously of those present. Amendments to the Meeting Minutes:  Jon Campbell notes an error reflected in the date of the last Senate Meeting.  Broc Fernandez mentions that the final vote for the Appropriations Bill 39-018 should be reflected as such 5-0-1.  Jackie Mowry moves to approve the Meeting Minutes as amended. Ryan Thomas seconds. The motion passes unanimously of those present. Senate President Updates:  Jon Campbell states that the Senate has an applicant Barry Callahan who’s paperwork is being moved forward.  Jon Campbell states that there will be a new Senate President after the confirmation hearing. Advisor Updates:  None for 11/15/2013 Old Business:  None for 11/15/2013 New Business:  [Senate President Confirmation Hearings]  Both Applicants step out of the room at 5:19pm.  The Senate begins discussion.  Kaitlyn Daniel assumes the role of the interviewer for both applicants.  The Senate interviews the Senate President applicant Broc Fernandez.  The Senate concludes the interview with Broc Fernandez.
