Directors: A McIntosh, D Cobb, S Kaster, S Gonzalo, K McDevitt, W Schumacher, M Berg, R White, S Wimberly, K Gilbert, J DeRosier Absent: K Dia, J Dahlin, S Wenzel, and R Foltyniewicz, & Coordinators P Moran, M Melton • Meeting Started - @7:02pm • President ◦ Technology – NGIN approved for 2017 AVIT and postpone any universal technology decisions ◦ Base Team Fees - recognize having a payment due in December is not ideal & No Pay / No Play will be enforced ◦ Burnsville Fire merger - Vote to continue discussion - All "Ayes", nobody opposed • Treasurer ◦ Meeting with VAA Treasurer went well ◦ Succession Plan - Sparkle will serve out her term, & begin training Ryan starting in January ◦ Team Snap - Invoice - @$1300/year. Do we re-up or not? ▪ Andy - we need them through August at least ◦ Financials – October emailed out for voting and approval - APPROVED • Boys & Girls ◦ BU13 and GU16 roster counts are low – focus for recruiting • VP ◦ Post Mortem - Information from Kevin ◦ Survey Results presented to board in January • Communication/Manager ◦ November minutes - All "Ayes", nobody opposed – APPROVED ◦ 8 teams attended December manager meeting; a second date in Jan/Feb ◦ Session 2 emails to go out with registration reminder and schedule • Registrar ◦ How to handle those who don't pay Base Team Fees? ▪ Checking on the system... how it handles payments. ▪ 'No pay, no play'. • Fields ◦ Session 2 Dome schedule finalized ◦ Special use dates...

▪ Tryouts 7/29-8/6/17 ▪ Summer camp 7/10-13/17 ▪ Ref clinic – March 18 recertification & April 22 for entry level • Academy/DOC ◦ BU13 & BU11 & GU12 coaches - not panicking yet... reach out to new parent • Equipment ◦ Ad flags @ $120 per flag • AVIT ◦ AVIT - 2 or 3 teams won't participate, historically we don't draw 17 & 18 C teams. Propose: The only exception is if you are a State Cup team at a C1 level or higher that makes it out of group stage, the $150 AVIT participation fees are directed elsewhere, but the volunteer commitment is still required. This is for 2017 AVIT only at this point. ◦ Target to open registration? ▪ Same as last year, @ 1/15 ◦ Concessions and site managers - try to find people we might know ▪ Should have actual First Aid supplies • Recruiting ◦ Middle School Emails - in process ◦ AV Midwinter Fest Plan - 2/4, same day as symposium ◦ Approved $260 for an ad in the Farmington School Reporter, 1/5/17 publication
