Directors: A McIntosh, R Foltyniewicz, S Kaster, S Gonzalo, K McDevitt, W Schumacher, M Berg, R White, J Dahlin, Absent: J DeRosier, D Cobb, S Wenzel, S Nickelson (VAA Liaison), S Wimberly, K Dia & Coordinators P Moran, M Melton, K Gilbert VUSC Business 1) President’s Report 1) Documents required for MYSA to recognize merger to be submitted by end of month 2) VAA & EVAA set to merge (sounds like 1,200 combined community soccer players) 3) Rolf compiled list of available Directors for AVIT 2) Director Reports 1) Treasurer i) Financial Report –March & April financials to be distributed electronically by Sparkle ii) Prepare for process of transferring funds to BVU bank account late in season – Ryan F to assist with the process to “close” Valley United accounts 2) Uniform Director i) Compile list for uniform credits – transfer to BVU – girls complete, boys to follow ii) March 2017 minutes –APPROVED 3) Manager & Website/Communication i) Base Team Fee refunds – will work with Molly to complete an audit in early June and then refund check issued to the team manager for distribution to individual players; most teams will not have a refund due. 4) Registrar i) Will compile list of players with fees owed to Club to transfer to BVU – previous seasons also ii) June 16 New Player deadline 5) Fields/Indoor Space Director i) Indoor team fees reconciled 6) DOC & Academy Director i) Coach and player evaluations to Greg Holker at season end 7) Technical & Equipment Coordinator i) collect ALL VUSC equipment at end of season & transfer to BJ Keller, BVU 8) AVIT Tournament Director i) Registration update – as many teams as we’ve ever hosted (tie with 2015) and we turned away ~50 in last few days due to crummy weather cancelling other tourneys ii) Rolf to send email to VUSC members (parking and BE NICE!) iii) Promote BVU at AVIT tourney 9) Volunteer Coordinator Report

Volunteer shifts to be posted tomorrow; 288 eligible families to cover ~248 shifts; balance will be used as floaters and additional concessions staff ii) Process for collecting buyout money & hiring staff 10) Recruiting/Marketing Director i) Friday Folder inserts for BVU registration were given to VAA for ISD 196 elementaries ii) Caribou event – we have 6 lbs of coffee and $30 g.c to use FINAL Board Meeting: Sunday, June 11, 2017 time TBD (6-9pm)
