At Christmas we are reminded how God generously gave us his son to save us from our sins. In past years, we have shown great generosity to our Lord especially at the end of each year. Our prayer for this December is that we would all consider our many blessings God has provided and to consider generously giving back to God this Christmas season as a celebration of Christ’s birth.
Here is a list of options that you may consider in your year‐end giving:
Cash Donations: If you mail your gift to the Church Office, please
make sure the envelope is postmarked on or before December 31. Online Giving: mywestside.church/give Bonuses: Tithing on bonuses is a great way to honor the Lord. Stocks and/or Mutual Funds: A gift of stock to the church avoids capital gains tax for you on the increase in the value of the stock. Non‐Cash Gifts: You may also donate assets to the church that have value like a residence, rental home, vehicles, land, jewelry, etc. Life Insurance: You can also name the church as a beneficiary of your policy. Corporate Matching: Your employer may match your giving to the church. Some employers will not match gifts to religious organizations but will give to our Preschool or Olivet Nazarene University.
2018 TITHING ENVELOPES New sets of tithing envelopes for 2018 have been placed in your church mailboxes. Please do not use these envelopes until January 2018. If you would like a set of numbered envelopes, please call the Church Office or complete a Connection Card and place it in the offering.
WINTER WEATHER POLICY We do not cancel worship unless the electricity is out or if there is a state of emergency. If there is significant winter weather on any given Sunday morning we may choose to cancel the 9am service and have only the 11am service. All announcements will be made on social media, our website, and through a church wide e‐mail.
DONATIONS NEEDED Pick up a Pantry List at the service Kiosk. Place donations in
