THE ASK Retailer D is a leading quickservice restaurant with over 2,000 locations across the United States. Building their brand has long been a top priority for Retailer D, and has helped establish them as one of the world’s most widely recognized QSR brands.

Always seeking innovative ways to build customer relationships, Retailer D saw mobile as not only a powerful engagement channel – but as a go-to strategy for driving in-store traffic and sales fast. To unlock new value with mobile, Retailer D tapped Vibes as their

enterprise partner and activated their latest national, branded gamified experience with mobile wallet to deliver offers and add new subscribers to their mobile database.

Retailer D’s participants were taken to a branded quiz where they could answer fun questions about Retailer D’s menu items. Once completed, participants were taken to a mobile form where they could fill in their name and phone number – and could also check a box to opt-in and receive Retailer D SMS alerts. Once their information was submitted, participants were rewarded with a personalized BOGO mobile wallet offer they could redeem in-store.

Saved mobile wallet offers were scanned at point-of-sale which was seamless for customers, and completely trackable for Retailer D. This represented a win-win for Retailer D and their customers. Retailer D was able to personalize, track and trigger reminder notifications to their customers to drive in-store traffic, while customers could save and redeem a free food order without needing to clip a coupon or remember to bring it in-store.

OUR SOLUTION Vibes’ customer success team worked with Retailer D to leverage mobile wallet offers as part of their gamified promotional experience. Having launched mobile wallet programs for large brands in the past, we saw significant potential for Retailer D to drive high audience engagement and redemption results with Apple Wallet & Android Pay – allowing customers to instantly and easily save Retailer D’s offers to their smartphones and redeem them in-store.
