Adjectives to adverbs Adjectives describe a thing or a person, adverbs describe an action.

Adverbs are easy to see because they usually end in '-ly’

Would you like a salad with your burger and fries? TIM: Oh, yes please. May I have the dressing separately? WAITER: Pardon? I did not understand your request. TIM: Could you bring the salad dressing on the side? WAITER: Oh, now I understand. Yes that is possible. TIM: Thank you!
