FALLBROOK POP WARNER EXECUTIVE BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING MINUTES FROM October 27th, 2016 A general FPW BOD meeting was held at Potter Junior High on 10-27-2016 in classroom 51 6:00-7:30pm Members in Attendance: Erik Benitez Michael Jones

President (Erik):
Motion to approve previous meeting minutes as submitted carried by President Erik Benitez and Seconded by Publicity Coordinator Maryann Collings. Flag Season has come to an end. Thank you to Coach Alexa Muro for working so well with the players. Great Job. Joey Navarro maybe next year Head Coach. Report on complaint filed with NPW. A formal complaint has been filed with National Pop Warner regarding the JPW coaching staff and conduct unbecoming of a coach. COMPLAINT. FPW EBOARD had closed session regarding the formal complaint and President Benitez will respond directly to President of Palomar with findings. Report from EBOARD to Directors and to open session of members in attendance are that Coach Welsh has stepped down from head coach position as he feels his presence would be a distraction to the team following the recent complaint. Coach McKenna has now been moved up to head coach position to fill in throughout balance of season. Suggestion was made to create an open line of communication for members to file a complaint and remain anonymous. The use of the PO Box 1866 Fallbrook, Ca. 920288 members can mail in their complaints and file grievances without fearing retaliation. If members wish to use the Team Pages email program they can email too [email protected]
Cheer (Mike):
JV Cheer squad took 2nd place at competition held at Ramona High School 10-23-2016 Pee Wee Cheer squad took 1st place at the competition held at Ramona High School 10-23-2016. o What an amazing performance held by our Fallbrook Cheer Team coaches and players.
Player Agent (Vacant) – Jason interim.
Team Parents will hand over team books at last games or equipment turn in to the Player Agent. Zoe Arce will collect team books for cheer at end of cheer season.

Coaches Agent (Erik)
Decision to purchase FPW tower lights was executed and FPW purchased a used set of tower lights from El Camino Rentals in Oceanside. Receipt o 8 Members Currently on Board. o 4 Members at meeting to cast vote. AYES: EB, JM, MJ, MC. o 4 Members Absent: ZA, AA, AM, JJ. Fields- JPW desired to use the fields at Boys and Girls Club. Only to find that the fields were available to use on Tuesday and changing fields would add more confusion. Decided to stay. Moved the lights in a better position at the field and after flag was done JV and MM came over to use the lit fields too. Chocolate Chip Bowl Games will be held in Murrieta this season. Our entry fee for each team to play is $300.00 per team and $100.00 per cheer squad. FPW has 2 tackle teams attending and no cheer squad. o Check issued payable to Murrieta Pop Warner Football 1081 Play-Offs: o JV will be playing against Ramona Guard Dogs 11-5-2016 o Pee Wee will be playing against Oceanside Pirates 11-5-2016

Fundraising (Jason Interim):
Trunk or Treat will take place on October 30th at Scoreboard Pizza from 4:00-7:00 located in the back parking lot. Each football team will have a station (trunk) there will be games and our raffle will take place 6:00-7:00pm. Drawings will be done and winner will be able to choose which basket they wish. Additional raffle tickets were sold at the time of the raffle and winners will be drawn at 6:15pm. Thank you to Laura Cherevchenko and Chaera Brady for helping create baskets. There were total of 14 baskets put together. BASKETS.
Secretary (Jason):
Running balance from League One for outstanding debts: $3504.50 there are 30 players that still owe some portion of their player registration or raffle ticket monies. Collections are still ongoing.

Need to refund Mighty Mite monies for not giving bags to them and those funds will be applied to their team party. Monies in the operating account at time of board meeting :$9,209.66 Monies spent for month of October $5,928.38 Upcoming Expenses: See Page 3 for table. No upcoming expenses at this time 11-6-2016.
