KIDS & FAMILIES FAMILY BRIDGE | 7.30.2017 a weekly resource to connect church and home

What your child did this Sunday: Redeemer Kids (Nursery, Preschool & Sermon Session) This week we read and discussed Jesus meeting the Samaritan woman at the well, breaking social and historical rules. Jesus also breaks natural rules by offering a life of grace, abundant forgiveness we don’t have to earn.  This week’s Bible passage: John 4:1-42 “Jesus said, “You don’t know what God gives. And you don’t know who asked you for a drink. If you knew, you would have asked me, and I would have given you living water.” Main Point: Jesus told the Samaritan woman He is the Messiah. Key Passage: John 14:6 “I am the way and the truth and the life.”

What you can do at home this week: Read: John 4:1-42 in a common translation or children’s Bible. Discuss groups of people our world tells us it’s okay to avoid. How does Jesus call us to break those rules? Plan a water day, at the beach, a pool or splash pad. Enjoy the real and living water God provides. Pray: Dear living God, thank you for your precious gift of unending grace, forgiveness we never have to earn. Amen.
