Treasurer Report – (Gibart) Payment is due to Cages for Pitchers/Catchers Clinics. Payments paid to tournaments as well as Farmington tournaments.
Field Improvement Project Update – (Boyles) No update, more information to be provided at next meeting.
11A State Tournament Update – (Stender) In contact with Gopher State and waiting on contract for tournament. Once contract is executed, a committee will be set up along with appointment of regular State Tournament Director. 13A qualifying tournament bid was not awarded. There will be follow up with Gopher State.
14U Parent Feedback Update – (Terry) Summary of feedback was provided to Board for consideration and discussion at February meeting.
Uniform Finalization – Giesen o
Secondary Jersey –Board adopted secondary jersey.
o
Follow-up on Request for Orange Jersey to be Mocked Up through CA, Possible Different Jersey Consideration for 9U – The Board decided not to pursue alternative jersey for 9U.
o
Required Age Groups for Secondary Jersey – Motion by Terry, second by Boyles that there will be no secondary jersey for 15U Jersey, however, it will be made available if
players choose to order. All in favor. Motion by Terry, second by Boyles that 9-14U will have secondary jersey. All in favor. o
When to Order Second Jerseys – Order will be placed order after parent meeting, players that are cut after tryouts may still purchase jersey, if they want to.
o
Volunteer needs (Board members) for Uniform Try-On at Parent Night – Four Board members are needed to assist. Any Board members that do not have a confict that night are encouraged to help out.
o
Cash and Carry Sale for Excess Inventory – Will be made available for sale as part of equipment swap.
Finalization of Tryout Plan – Lewis o
Confirm Outside Evaluators – Association will hold pre-registration workout for new players and hold a new coach orientation. Outside evaluators have been confirmed.
Scrub Website of Corporate Sponsorships – Frost and Isrealson to remove previous year sponsors from Association website.
Tournament Update - Berreth o
Update on Farmington Tournament Registration – All teams have been registered for tournaments for upcoming season. The goal was to have two of each team’s tournaments to be both MBT and Gopher State qualifying.

Status on Farmington Tournament Submissions to Gopher State – All bids were awarded except 13A qualifying tournament. Stender to follow up with Gopher State.
o
Block Hotels for Rochester Tournaments – No teams are registered for Rochester at any age group this year. Therefore, no need to block hotels for the tournament.
Facility Scheduling o
Indoor Practice Space – Brewer working on getting space reserved April 3-7 and 10-14.
o
Fields with City/School District – Brewer working with City and has not heard back from School District.
o
Empire –Confirmation still needed with Empire
Order Equipment – Baseballs are ordered. Boyles plans on ordering other equipment in February.
Registration Status - Isrealson reported that 38 players have registered.
Off-Season Training o
Pitchers/Catchers Clinic Update – There were 100registrations and positive feedback was received on initial sessions.
o
DCTC Update – Sunday session was full.
Fundraising Update – McClure
o
Parent Night Out – Confirmed for Celts on March 18 from 6:00-10:00 in the backroom. There is a possibility of a DJ for evening. Fundraising will begin collecting items for raffle in upcoming month.
o
Finalizing items for upcoming spirit gear campaign with CA, planned to be open Feb 9March 25.
o
Motion by Giesen, econd by Terry to purchase 75 Farmington sticker Fs from Shawna Kendall for sale at FTBA functions.
Fundraising Policy – Motion by Lewis, second by Boyles to adopt Fundraising Policy and 20162017 Donor and Sponsor Programs.
