Our 2018 Graduating Seniors Will Chaltas PARENTS & SIBLINGS Charles and Spring, Jack HIGH SCHOOL Birdville High School HIGH SCHOOL ACTIVITIES JROTC - captain, staff sergeant and squad leader, University Interscholastic League (social studies), Chinese Club TOP 3 HONORS AND ACHIEVEMENTS JROTC Physical Training Team Captain, JROTC Academic Bowl, 1st place in Cadet Challenge. FUTURE PLANS Will has enlisted in the US Army where he will proudly serve our country. Basic training will begin June 26, 2018 at Fort Jackson in South Carolina. After basic training, he will be transferred to Cyber Command at Fort Gordon in Georgia where he will begin his training in satellite operations and communications. He will be in the military for 4 years. Upon completing 4 years in the military, Will wishes to obtain his Bachelors in Computer Science specializing in Computer Security & Information Assurance. Will's goal is to become an Officer in the Army. CHURCH ACTIVITIES AND VOLUNTEER WORK Thurifer and acolyte, confirmation class, VBS volunteer, St. Michael’s Conference, New Beginnings Leader, Mission Trips, UGM volunteer, JROTC Community Outreach Program. FAVORITE CHURCH MEMORIES Learning to be a thurifer and going on mission trips. FAVORITE BIBLE VERSE Mathew 5:5 - “Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth.” WHAT IS A TALENT YOU HAVE THAT PEOPLE MIGHT NOT KNOW ABOUT? I can build and repair computers and various electronics.

FUTURE PLANS Attend Tarrant Community College in the fall and get my associates degree and then proceed to a private or public college to get my bachelors degree, hopefully in interior design.
