My name is Chiara Cancela, I am a currently a junior at Miami Palmetto Senior High School. I have been a member of the varsity team since my freshman year and was team captain this year. My sophomore year I earned an honorable mention all‐county player. I am currently in my eighth club volleyball season with Miami Elite. I love the sport and wouldn’t be able to picture the past eight years of my life without it.
I am a very passionate player and give every set my all. I am very committed to volleyball, determined to excel in every way possible, and I am very coachable. I am a team player and always do what will benefit my team the most. I have a strong work ethic, not only for volleyball but for my education. I am very studious and always able to balance out volleyball with academics. I am extremely passionate about volleyball and hope to continue playing in college.
