June 26 Meeting Newsletter Flight # 48 THE CAPTAIN’S CORNER: “Nostalgia Night”, May 22 meeting, was a great success with 27 members and guest attending. Several members brought in items of memorabilia from their careers to include photos, model aircraft and specific items of interest. Also, several members, who could still fit into them, wore uniforms and or flight suits from their past. Two of our WW II veterans wore their Class A blues. At least one member from each table told a story regarding a past unique flying experience. The stories were wonderful and very interesting. Many of them we had never heard being told at any of our many past meetings. We inducted three new members into our Flight with the administering of the "Oath of a Daedalian". We welcome Ron Davis; Col. (ret) Al Rushatz, USA; and Capt. Adam Boyd, USAF, as new members of the Harley H. Pope Flight. At the June meeting we hope to induct two new members: Maj. Kristina Richardson, USA; and CW4 Troy Zwirblia, USA. If you need a new nametag, please email how you want your name on the tag. Guest Speaker : Working on getting a speaker for the meeting. If none, a business meeting will be held.
