Truth • God expects believers to care about those who experience prejudice. Untruths • People who aren’t like me are inferior to me. • It’s not my problem that some people are poor, hungry, or mistreated. • I might help others after I guarantee my own needs are met.

3. Explore Scripture: Write what you want to remember about the Scriptures.

4. Think it Through: Listen to these phrases and raise your hand when you hear one you think is true. a. Everyone is created by God and thus is a child of God. b. God expects us to help those who are hurt by prejudice. Share that “c” and “d” are the only true phrases. 5. Nail It Down: A parent will lead this activity. 6. Pray: Ask family members to stand. Encourage each family member to say a sentence prayer for a group experiencing prejudice. Start by saying: Dear God, we ask mercy and grace for . . . 7. Blessing: Listen as your parent blesses the family. Teen Tip: This tip is short and sweet.
