FOLLOWING GOD– FIND TRUE PURPOSE “Many are the plans in a person's heart, but it is the LORD's purpose that prevails.” Proverbs 19: 21 Life is a journey with a sure destination. If we follow God’s voice and purpose, we will arrive at our destination in heaven and enjoy the amazing eternity He has for us. Most of us make plans for our life. Our plans come from our ideas, influences, cultures or desires. “Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails.” Proverbs 19:21 It’s very important to remember that with any plans we have in our heart, we involve the Lord and seek His guidance. Why? Because He has a clear purpose and plan for your life! Just as His destination is clear, His purpose is also clear. There is nothing vague about God. He is always in control, always holy and perfect in all He does. His promises from the Word Of God contain everything we need to find what He wants for our lives. (2 Pet 1:3-4) You are no accident! You are a purposed man or woman. “You were made by God and for God and until you understand that, life will never make sense.” Rick Warren How do you get on track with God’s plan for your life? You find and maintain a personal and meaningful relationship with Jesus Christ. You seek Him and get to know His ways, and learn to recognize His voice. (John 10:27) This voice is the voice of the Holy Spirit. Too often we have so much noise happening in our mind from all our thoughts that we don’t clearly hear the most significant voice of God speaking to us. If we don’t hear right, we can’t live right and do what He wants. We end up doing our thing and hope Jesus is happy tagging along. Unfortunately, when we don’t listen and follow the Lord’s voice and prompting, we end up a bit confused and often feel lost. We lose our peace and begin following others because they seem to be going somewhere. We need to trust God with everything in our life and involve Him by sharing everything with Him in prayer. God has a perfect plan and purpose for you! In all you pursue, don’t become preoccupied with yourself or your plans. Be sure to lay your plans at the feet of Jesus if you want God to be involved. His plan will prevail when we obey. “May He give you the desire of your heart and make all your plans succeed. ... LUKE 8 –Caring The Needy
A wonderful night was shared at Luke 8 on Monday the Mantra Hotel on the 22nd of February. Ps Jennie was joined by 35 ladies who generously gave and supported Luke 8’s compassionate work around the world through NTM ministries. We heard from Grace Thomas about going out to the City and sharing God’s love with the homeless with Karl Gonzalez and Ben Scida. Ps. Peter gave a wonderful word of encouragement about the Luke 8 women of the bible. The night ended with a circle of prayer and Ps. Sonia praying. The Lord has many things to accomplish this year and He promises to bless and repay anyone who gives to those in need. Thank you for your support and generosity. “Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the LORD, and he will reward them for what they have done.” Prov 19:17
