Your child will go to the library on Monday and Wednesday. They will check out books to take home to read. Please read 25 books with your child and record the title on the reading log located in the M.O.O.S.E folder. The new goal from October 13, 2014 to December 11th, 2014.

This week we will be going to the Pumpkin Patch. We will leave the school at approx 9:20. It will be at Sandy Garrett’s which is in sunny slope. You are welcome to meet us there or follow the bus. We will be learning the life cycle and the different parts of a pumpkin. Those that reached their 25 book goal received a treat from Mrs. Mashburn. Please save
Box-Tops, Campbell Soup labels and empty drink pouches and send to school with your child. We collect these items to earn money for the school! Send to school anytime. In Math we will be… Looking at sets and deciding which one has more, fewer or if they are equal. Writing the numbers 0-9 in rocket math. In Reading we will… be reviewing the letters a-r. Keep practicing sight words! It’s making a huge difference when they are reading! Rhyming, counting syllables, listening to beginning sounds and ending sounds.
