BOBBY SHANNON • Ramapo College Junior • Second Base • Flanders, NJ/Mount Olive Shannon becomes the second Roadrunner this season to earn NJAC Player of the Week honors after powering Ramapo to a 5-0 week, including four key NJAC wins. He went 10-for-18 (.556) on the week with eight RBIs, nine runs scored, four doubles, five drawn walks, and a stolen base. He recorded a .778 slugging percentage and .640 on-base percentage. He safely hit in each of the five games, with three multi-hit games. He opened the week with a 3-for-4 outing with two doubles, two RBIs and a run scored in a nonconference win over St. Joseph’s (LI). He added a 3-for-5 performance in the second of two games with William Paterson, and then went a combined 3-for-6 with a double, four RBIs and four runs scored in a doubleheader sweep of Rutgers-Newark. Shannon currently ranks fifth in the NJAC in both batting average (.364) and slugging percentage (.542).
PITCHER OF THE WEEK
JOHN DOHERTY • Ramapo College Senior • Pitcher • Pearl River, NY/Pearl River Doherty earns his first NJAC Pitcher of the Week honor on the heels of throwing a one-hit shutout over Rutgers-Newark on Saturday night. The senior came within one out of a no-hitter, surrendering just one hit with one out remaining in the ninth. He struck out eight in the contest. Doherty currently ranks second in the NJAC in conference-only opposing batting average (.145) and seventh in conference-only ERA (1.99).

FRANK LoGUIDICE • Kean University Freshman • Outfield • Edison, NJ/JP Stevens LoGuidice is the second Kean player to earn NJAC Rookie of the Week after leading Kean offensively last week. He batted 9-for-14 (.643) with one RBI, two runs scored, a double, and three drawn walks, as well as one stolen base. He recorded a slugging percentage of .714. The rookie outfielder recorded at least one hit in all four games, with three multi-hit games. His best outing of the week was a 4-for-5 performance in a setback to Rowan in the nightcap of a doubleheader. He added two hits apiece in two games against Rutgers-Newark. LoGuidice currently leads all NJAC players in conference-only batting average (.528), hits per game (1.73), and on-base percentage (.575).
ROOKIE PITCHER OF THE WEEK
NICK KLEFTOGIANNIS • The College of New Jersey Freshman • Pitcher • Cherry Hill, NJ/Cherry Hill West Kleftogiannis becomes the second Lion in two weeks to earn NJAC Rookie Pitcher of the Week after three strong appearances in relief. He did not allow a run in 4.3 combined innings, and gave up just two hits in that time. He pitched 2.1 innings without a hit and earned his first collegiate win against FDU-Florham. He tossed a scoreless inning in a win at Rowan, and then 1.2 innings of scoreless ball against Rowan the following day. Kleftogiannis currently holds a 1.23 ERA in nine bullpen appearances this season.
