NEW Statewide Term Contract Effective Dates: June 1, 2017 – May 31, 2020
Forestry Equipment – 578A The Division of Purchase & Contract has established a new Statewide Term Contract to provide forestry equipment. This is a mandatory contract for state agencies, departments, institutions, universities and community colleges unless exempted by North Carolina General Statute. Non-mandatory entities, including schools and local government, may use this contract if allowed by general statute.
New Contract Highlights Seven (7) categories of forestry equipment including feller bunchers, knuckleboom loaders, forestry swing machines, harvesters, grinders, shredders, chippers and other equipment that does not fall in the above categories including options, features, and accessories. Manufacturer lines represented are Caterpillar, Doppstadt, Duratech, Nu-Life Environmental, Peterson and Vermeer at a percentage discount off Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price. Each Vendor has a dedicated account manager to ensure agencies receive the utmost level of customer service and placement of orders. The line item catalog for the following vendor has been loaded into E-Procurement: Public Works Equipment & Supply Inc. The other catalogs will be loaded in the near future.
