Body Armor – 680C The Division of Purchase & Contract has established a new Statewide Term Contract in conjunction with NASPO ValuePoint to provide Body Armor. This contract is a convenience contract which may be used by state departments, state agencies, state higher education institutions and non-mandatory state agencies and other eligible entities.

National Law Enforcement and Corrections Technology Center’s (NLECTC) certified National Institute of Justice – Concealed Pistol License (NIJ-CPL) Compliant Body Armor may be purchased through a network of Vendor-Approved local designated distributors.

Body Armor shall be manufactured to fit a specific individual following professional measurement. Measurement and fit protocols shall be professionally conducted by distributors prior to order placement. Sample vests may be used to assist in establishing initial size and fit for individual officers, however, sample vests may not be used for final fittings. All sizing, measurements, and final fittings shall be done at no expense to the Agency. Body Armor improperly fitted to an individual wearer shall be adjusted or replaced and returned to the individual within thirty (30) days by the Vendor at no expense to the Agency.

Additional volume price discount incentives for multiple vest purchases are as follows: 1-10 vests, 11-25 vests, 26-50 vests, and more than 50 vests per order. Instruction/presentation can be requested by an Agency regarding the fit, care, maintenance, usage, and limitation of bullet-resistant and stab-resistant armor.
