OPENING: The general board meeting was called to order at 7:26 pm in Newbury Park by Jason Kerns, NPPB President. Those present are listed in the chart.

CONEJO OAKS: Representatives from the Conejo Oaks program presented information regarding their program. They are hosting two 2-day camps for players ages 5-14 at Cal Lutheran. They are also looking for host families for their players, who will receive free camp registration and a small stipend. In addition, they will host full teams at their games – teams will be announced and allowed to run the fields after the game. Games are typically Friday nights, and Sunday afternoons.

Bronco: The Bronco CJ Huck Black tournament is Rachel Moscoso down to three teams Todd Taylor with championship Jon Raskin x x x Athena Harris game on Saturday. The x Eric Horne Expos lost in the finals in the Gold division. Three all-star teams were selected and play this weekend. There are two in-house all-star teams and they play next Wednesday. The teams are coached by Josh Eby and Brennan Lowery. C. Mustang: There are 3 all-star teams in Mustang: 9U, 10U Red, and 10U White. The 10U White team plays tonight. D. Pinto: There are 3 teams left in the Pinto Black tournament: Cubs are in the finals and awaiting the winner of Indians vs. Blue Jays tomorrow. There are two 7U all-star teams, and one 8U team. Cary Rake replaced Brandon Nunez as the 8U manager. Brandon’s son was injured recently, and he decided to step down as the manager. E. Shetland: Shetland is going well. The semi-final games are tomorrow for the Shetland Gold division. There are two all-star teams: 5U and 6U. There will be 3 in-house all-star teams playing Gold division rules. Games will be held next TuesdayThursday.

OLD BUSINESS A. Memorial Day Tournament Update: We received $5,500 from USSSA for hosting, and made $10,039 in revenues from the snack shack. The Pony field was converted to a Bronco field for the tournament. 1

B. Pre-4th Tournament: There are currently 43 9U-14U all-star teams registered for our tournament. We are paying Westlake Baseball $1,600 for the use of their Mustang and Bronco fields on Saturday and Sunday. Westlake will run their snack shack, and we will take care of field prep. We will also be hosting 12-14 Shetland and Pinto teams in the PONY sanctioned tournament this same weekend. C. CRPD Matching Grant: The grant for the netting over the quad area at DV was approved. This project will cost roughly $4,000. D. Snack Shack Break-In Update: The individual who has been working at our fields this past year has completed his hours, and paid his portion of the break-in costs. 6.
NEW BUSINESS A. Closing Ceremonies: Everything is ready – vendors, Thoroughbred/Spirit Awards, DJs, bouncy houses, etc. Team parents have been sent instructions to forward to their teams. The schedule will be the same as previous years. Championship games will be played following closing ceremonies. B. Golf Cart: Steve Field loaned the league the use of his golf cart for the Memorial Tournament. It was extremely useful so Jason K would like to consider buying one for the league. C. Bronco Field Conversion: Jason K would like to further discuss the possibility of converting the Bronco field to a Pony field. This will allow the league to add a Colt division for those players ages 15-16.

SNACK SHACK UPDATE: There was a motion to approve Cheryl Bryarly as the sole Snack Shack Advisor for the remainder of the season. Motion was seconded and approved.
