Dear Parent/Carer As part of our continued commitment to being a Bike it school we would like to tell you about an exciting competition open to Reception, Year 1and Year 2. ‘Bling your Bike’ is simply decorating (‘blinging’) your bike using scrap materials. The theme is ‘Be Bright Be Seen’. So think about what will make your bike visible in the dark winter months and have fun making it as shiny and flashy as possible! The competition will take place on Thursday 26th November and winners will be announced on the day. Rules
All bikes must be decorated and parked in the bike shelter by 9am on the day You don’t want to damage your bike when decorating it, so be careful when selecting your materials; Any decoration should not jeopardize the safety of your child’s bike; Your child’s bike will be judged according to the effort, recycled materials and imagination; Please ensure that a label is on the bike with the child’s name , class and year group Bikes will be judged by our Bike It representative from Hillingdon 3 prizes will be presented to the winners in a Bike it assembly on the day. The winners will parade with their bikes in the prize-giving assembly Please fill in the competition entry form below and give it in to your class teacher on the 26th November if you wish to enter your bike.
