NEWNHAM INFANT & NURSERY SCHOOL and NEWNHAM JUNIOR SCHOOL 12 March 2015
Dear Parent/Carer, BREAKFAST CLUB – EXTENDED SCHOOL SERVICES Breakfast Club re-starts on MONDAY 13th APRIL – TUESDAY 21st JULY 2015. It has been decided to deal with the administration of this service on a termly basis. Places will be offered to all full-time children in both the Infant and Junior Schools. At present, we can offer places to 60 children. Children should be taken to the Infant School main reception area at 8am (please note: the school car park will not be available for parents to use for dropping off children for the Breakfast Club). The children will be offered a nutritious breakfast (it is important that you advise us of any food that your child is allergic to). When breakfast is completed the children will play a variety of table games (age appropriate). The Infant children will be taken to class for the start of the school day and Junior children will be taken through to the Junior School. Whilst at the Breakfast club, the children will be fully supervised by existing school staff and a First Aider is always on hand. Some children have been arriving to the Breakfast Club having already eaten their breakfast at home. Please could you always advise us if you do not wish them to eat at the club. If you do not require 5 days each week, please state which days you require your child to attend the Breakfast Club by ticking the appropriate days on the table below. Due to Health & Safety, we do not offer the service on a ‘one off’/ad hoc basis. The cost is £3 per day and we require full payment for the term to secure your place. If you require the use of the Breakfast Club for your child, please complete and return the slip below to Mrs Marskell (Infant School Office), together with your cheque by return. No confirmation is given but if we are unable to offer your child a place, we will contact you immediately.
