NEWS AND EVENTS Welcome to Mountain Springs Community Church We warmly welcome you here today. We are very informal, so grab a cup of coffee and join us as we celebrate God’s grace in Jesus Christ. Please join us for refreshments and fellowship following the worship service.
Today’s Message During the 1960’s – that period of love children and flower power – two songs reflected the mood of a generation. One was the Beatles’ song, “All You Need is Love.” The other, written by Burt Bacharach, was titled, “What the World Needs Now.” Both songs seem quaint today, along with the idea that love could be the solution to the world’s challenges. 1 Corinthians 13 says something quite different. It is either hopelessly naive or holy counter-culture.

Women’s Bible Study Lesson 4 Worship
PRC Baby Bottle Campaign It is time again for the annual Baby Bottle Campaign for the Pregnancy Resource Center. The PRC was started in 1986 in Salt Lake City and is dedicated to helping women, men and families with unplanned pregnancies, post-abortion recovery, parenting classes, material resources, referrals and much more! The fundraisers and events throughout the year help the PRC to raise awareness and/or generate crucial resources to serve our community. Please take a baby bottle home, if you have not already done so. Fill the bottle with coins, checks or cash and return the filled bottle to church by February 21. The deacons will also be collecting a special offering for the PRC on February 28. Look for more information on the bulletin board and the information table in the foyer.
Old Newspapers Wanted If you would like to recycle your old newspapers, there is a need at Hogle Zoo. They use the papers for bedding and paper-mache supplies to make piñatas for the animals. They cannot use the waxy insert or advertisement pages and the need is endless! For more details, contact Jill VanMilligen [email protected].
Salt Lake City Mass Choir (SLCMC) SLCMC extends an invitation to our congregation for the upcoming One Accord night of worship. This evening of worship will be held tonight January 31 at 6pm at the Mountain View Assembly of God Church located at 300 E 8000 S, Sandy, UT 84070.
