Newsletter January 2018 After School Clubs After School Clubs are now back up and running, please be aware if you need to contact club staff between 4pm and 6pm you need to call the Club Phone which is 07850747450. Absences If your child is absent from school for any reason it is essential that you contact school directly and speak to a member of staff. Passing messages through the escorts can sometimes be misinterpreted or forgotten completely. Also, if your child has a medical appointment but will be returning to school we need you to let us know if they require a lunch ordered. Transport Meeting There will be a meeting held in school, on Thursday 8th February at 2.30pm with Fiona Thurm and Dave Jopling from South Tyneside Council, who currently deal with transport arrangements for the children. This is the perfect opportunity for you to raise any concerns or issues regarding transport.
PTA There will be a PTA meeting during Café this Friday 26th January, if you would like to be involved could you let Reception know when you sign in. Facebook If you have access to Facebook or our school website you will see lots of example of the things we have done recently. The children have learned a great deal about their community and how they can play a part in it as well as having fun. The concert gave them a great opportunity to show their talent and to learn lots of Makaton with their songs.
