Munster Senior League In the opening game of the Munster League, Valleys hosted Annacarty in Innishannon on Friday last. It was an excellent start to the competition with a great win for the home team on a score line of 6-11 to 1-5. The next outing in the competition is against Knockaderry of Limerick this weekend. U14 A League Valleys played Courceys on the Monday of the Bank Holiday in Innishannon. Having qualified for a U14 football county final the previous evening, the girls played their second game in less than 24 hours and showed great determination in their performance. The final score was 3-2 to 1-2. U14 Cork Colleges Valley Rovers had 3 representatives on the Cork Colleges teams for the Annual James Hurley U14 blitz held in Mallow last Saturday, they were Lisa Lynch, Jennifer Murphy and Katie Lynch. Cork won the James Hurley A competition, and also won the C competition. Well done to Lisa, Jennifer & Katie. Exams Valley Rovers Camogie Club wishes all Leaving & Junior Cert students the best of luck in their upcoming exams.

Fixtures Under 14 hurling vs Russell Rovers in Shanagarry on Tuesday 7th at 7.30pm Under 14 football vs Charleville in Brinny on Thurday 9th at 7.30pm Valley Rovers Juvenile Hurling and Football club will be holding a 4km sponsored walk on Sunday 19th June at 3pm from Brinny. All are welcome!!! Sponsorship cards available from the Juvenile club. 01/06/11, Fe 11 Hurling League, Valley Rovers Versus Inniscarra, 7pm in Brinny. Again this is 11 aside games with four games played on the night, it finished all square with Valley Rovers winning two games and Inniscarra winning two games. Well done to all.
