Losers of Carbery Rangers v Glanmire play Na Piarsaigh 2 Round 2 (Losers Round) Losers of 1 Vs Losers of 2 Well done to Valley Rovers Fiachra Lynch who came on as a substitute in Corks win over Down in Saturdays National Football league in Pairc Ui Rinn. Hopefully we will see Fiarchra starting in the near future
Valley Rovers were well represented on the Cork Inter-County scene over the weekend. The U16's played Clare in the first round of the All-Ireland series in Newmarket on Fergus on Sunday March 13th. Cork recorded a good win in this match and will play Dublin next Saturday at a Cork venue. The Cork team was captained by Susan O'Leary who played at left corner back and Leona Murphy played at left half back. Aidan Crowley is a selector with this team. Liz Buglar and Gillian Harrington were on the Cork Intermediate team who were defeated by Waterford in a league match.

Applications are now being taken for Gaelteacht GAA Grants for Coláiste Na Mumhan, Béal Atha'n Ghaorthaidh for summer 2011.

To be eligible for The GAA Grant a student must be a female or male player with Valley Rovers GAA Club and must be a paid up member. The Grant is available for all the three courses, i.e. June, July and August. Applications are being taken immediately for the June Course.
