Results Valley Rovers U21 Footballers went out of the Championship yesterday when they were defeated by reigning champions Kinsale by 2-12 to 2-08 in Carrigaline. The game ebbed and flowed with both teams having periods of dominance and at the three quarter stage both teams were level. From here to the end Kinsale took over the scoring getting 1-04 before Valleys got a late consolation Goal. Over the coming few weeks the club are planning a major upgrade to the club website. The Club are seeking sponsorship for this project with the sponsor advertisement prominent on the homepage of the website. If you are interested or know of someone who might be interested please contact the club PRO or anyone of the club officers.
Valley Rovers Juvenile Hurling and Football club are holding their Registration Night on Tuesday 15th of February in Brinny between 7-9 pm for children born between 1995 and 2004. All juvenile players who wish to play for Valley Rovers must register on the night.

Applications are now being taken for Gaelteacht GAA Grants for Coláiste Na Mumhan, Béal Atha'n Ghaorthaidh for summer 2011.
Total Cost of stay is 700.00 euro Less GAA Grant 180.00 euro Balance to be paid 520.00 euro
To be eligible for The GAA Grant a student must be a female or male player with Valley Rovers GAA Club and must be a paid up member. The Grant is available for all the three courses, i.e. June, July and August. Applications are being taken immediately for the June Course. Twitter is a free social networking tool, where if you sign up you can receive any messages posted by sites that you follow e.g. ValleyRoversGAA. Typical messages are short, similar to text messages in length. Examples of these are scores of matches, fixtures etc. Many people may not be aware that if you set up an account on twitter you can receive tweets (term used for messages posted on Twitter) on your phone by text also - completely free in three easy steps. 1. Set up your account 2. Follow ValleyRoversGAA 3. Select turn on device notification by clicking on the mobile phone icon. Even if you have no interest in twitter ever again, you will receive any tweet (message) made be Valley Rovers GAA on your phone by text Free and at no cost to the Club either. The only time you need a computer is the initial set up. With this email is another Attachment with a step by step guide to help you through each of the three steps above if needed.
