North Manor Cottage is Grade II Listed of Architectural and Historical Interest. Believed to have been built in the 1650’s it was originally part of The Manor House and was recorded as the largest property in the village in 1672. When the new Manor House was built in 1856 this original Manor House was split into North and South Manor Cottages. The cottage is constructed of coursed squared and dressed limestone with leaded light Cotswold stone mullioned windows and a Cotswold stone slate roof. North Manor Cottage was recently extended into the adjoining building to create a kitchen and larder.

The property offers a wealth of period features throughout including Cotswold stone mullioned leaded light windows in the majority of the rooms, Cotswold stone fireplaces, exposed ceiling timbers and some wooden floors and staircases. The property has been sympathetically updated to include an attractive stone floor throughout the majority of the ground floor, down lighting and modern radiators in most of the reception and bedrooms. Kitchen and bathrooms have been updated with a subtle, modern, contemporary twist.
