QUINN BLANCO GRADUATING YEAR: 2017
My name is Quinn Blanco and I'm an incoming senior at Westminster Christian School in Miami, Florida. I am very interested in playing volleyball at the next level. I come from a very strong work ethic background that was ingrained in me at a young age. I was a competitive gymnast from ages 4‐11 who trained 6 days a week, 4‐6 hours a day. So I understand what it takes to make a better athlete. I've been on the varsity volleyball team since my freshman year and the starting setter since my sophomore year. My freshman year we placed first in the State Championship and my sophomore year we lost in the State Semi Finals. The Miami Herald voted me on the Second Team All‐County for the past two years and honorable mention my freshman year. I have been playing travel volleyball since 6th grade with Miami Elite on their top team. I am very passionate about playing volleyball and would love the opportunity to play at the college level. I have a GPA of 3.89. I also am a member of the National Honor Society and I am one of the co‐founders of a beach volleyball organization where we hold beach volleyball tournaments to raise money for underprivileged children.
