Neumann is looking forward to getting back on the field under second year head coach Cory Malampy. The Knights qualified for the CSAC postseason for the first time since the 2002 season in 2014. Neumann hopes to take that momentum and keep moving forward in 2015. Neumann’s top returner will be senior Chris Scott. He led the team with 42 points in 2014, including 22 goals and 20 assists. Scott will quarterback the offense. Senior Ryan O’Kane will take the face-offs and handle the middle of the field. He won a team-high 42 face-offs last season. Junior Connor Betts will help anchor the defense. With many vacancy spots left by the outgoing seniors, the underclassmen and incoming freshmen will battle to fill the voids. Looking to make an immediate impact are Ariel Diaz, Joe Montgomery and Adam Fagan. “Last year was a great season, but we can’t let last year’s success define this year. We have to earn in all over again,” says Coach Malampy.
