Rockaway Valley Soccer League Meeting Minutes August 30, 2016 Present: Christine (President), Joe (Vice President), Eric (Treasurer), Linda (Secretary), (Jefferson), Kurt (Hackettstown), Dom (Parsippany), Natalie (Dover), Tara (Wharton), Javier (Mine Hill), Robert (Roxbury), Edwin (Mt. Arlington), Rich (Assignor) Absent: Long Valley, Denville
Treasury Report:
$4, 876.94 in checking Rockaway Twp, Roxbury, Jersey Crew, Jefferson, Mine Hill, Dover, Mt. Arlington – All Paid
Referee Report:
Refresher course completed. (9 attendees) Next Re-cert course offered 9/17/16, 9am-11am @Jefferson Health Center Grade 9 Course – looking for dates for winter Suggestion to put heading policy on website Suggestion to add coaches meeting slides to website
Old Business:
Second Reading of Attendance policy- no opposition. Vote next meeting Second Reading: More than 2 meetings missed in a season (Fall: July-December; Spring: JanJune) results in a fine of $25 to club.
New Business:
AA teams-Parsippany will have a 24 player roster, but will only bring 20 for games. Mine Hill- has one player older than allowed for B Division team (no A team available). League unanimously allowed him to play on B division team. Rockaway Twp. – golf course field is now called Enholm Field Wharton- A Division Boys will be playing ay Morris Hills. Wharton- *possibility of having small sided home games at McKinnon field this season.
Next Meeting: September 27th @ 8pm.
