Rockaway Valley Soccer League Meeting Minutes September 27, 2016 Present: Christine (President), Joe (Vice President), Eric (Treasurer), Linda (Secretary), Roxbury, Denville, Dover, Mt. Olive, Hackettstown, Jefferson, Wharton, Mt. Arlington, Parsippany, Mine Hill, Rich ( Ref) Absent: Long Valley Treasury Report:
$5,406.94 in checking Waiting on Spring payment for : Parsippany, Wharton and Long Valley $41.57 Bill for supplies from Rich
Referee Report:
Rockaway Township, Dover and Wharton - late game cancellation fee waiting on AA roster from Parsippany All other Rosters are completed Last Youth Ref course- 8 attendees. Course complete. *Copies of rosters to be photocopied by towns/coaches - Rich will no longer be making copies. Bring laminated copy and photocopy to games. *Reminder- Home team needs to contact away coach by Wednesday to confirm game. Schedule Changes- AA and B Division Boys. New schedule on website by 9/29/16.
Old Business:
Third Reading - Vote passed. ( $25 fine for more than 2 meetings missed in a season)
New Business:
Recommendation to change subject line in Coaches Reports to include Coach and Division. Concerns with C Division. 06 and 07 birth years. Some towns have 08 as well. Too much of a disparity. Ideas for discussion for future seasons ( Christine and Joe) * Co-Ed teams for C Division * Move A Division to 35 minute half * Change substitution rule- can sub at any stoppage of game and both teams can sub regardless of possession. Adjournment- 9:02 pm Next Meeting: October 25 @ 8pm.
