Intro: Welcome and Meeting called to order at 7:02pm- Tatum Lineberger Minutes: Feburary minutes approved
Building Update: Tatum Lineberger Reported Building is well on its way. We have walls and framing should start this week and will take up to 5 weeks and then we will be in the dry. Basketball Update: Tatum Lineberger Reported The 2012-2013 season ended on a positive note this year. We want to thank everyone for the support for the park when it was needed during the last week of basketball. We had a successful end of the year banquet and parent/coaches game that followed. Baseball Update: Renee Snodgrass Reported The Bryan Harvey baseball camp went well, the kids and coaches were able to get some great information out of it to better their future as players and coaches. We would like to thank Bryan Harvey and the Bandys Varsity Baseball team for coming out to help make the baseball camp a success. We have 126 kids registered this year for baseball. 2- 8U teams, 5- 10U teams, 3-12U teams and 1-15U team.
Softball Update: Shannon Vanhoy Reported The Bandy’s softball camp was a success. We would like to thank Mike Carpenter, Randi Keith and the Bandy’s softball team for coming out and making the camp a success. We have 65 girls registered this year. We have a total of 6 teams. Soccer Update: Tatum Lineberger Reported We are in need of a soccer chair. The program needs to have someone take it asap so we can get started on preparing for this Fall season. Football Update: Stan Parker Reported The football helments have gone through and sent off to be reconditioned. We will be playing Big South League and should have 4 teams this year. T-ball Update: Talisha Reynolds Reported Practices should be starting soon. We had 52 kids register and will have 5 teams. Volleyball Update: Tatum Lineberger Reported We are need of a chair for volleyball. Mandy Grindstaff has done it in the past and is willing to help the new chair person out. Fundraiser Chair: We would like to give a big THANKS to Christina Mullis for taking on the fundraiser chair. She will need a committee of other volunteers that would be willing to help her put things together for the park. Our park is only ran by donations and fundraisers so it is very important for us to support the fundraisers. Elections: A nominating committee has been called upon to reach out to all good standing members at the park to see if anyone is interested in running for a position on the board. A member in good standing is a paying member that has been to 9 of 12 community meetings.
