ROCK RETURNS HOME TO HOST WEST VIRGINIA WESLEYAN • Following 10 days without a game due to fall semester final exams, Slippery Rock team returns home to host West Virginia Wesleyan at Morrow Field House. • Slippery Rock is 7-2 (.778) over the last four years in non-conference games played at Morrow Field House. • Slippery Rock is 22-19 (.537) all-time against teams that compete in the Mountain East Conference. However, none of the games have come within the last four years outside of a three-game series against West Liberty University, which SRU has won two of three in. • Ciara Patterson was named the PSAC West Athlete of the Week after scoring a career-high 28 points in a Rock win at Millersville. Patterson is in the midst of a great season for The Rock. She is currently averaging 15.9 points, 3.8 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.2 steals per game while ranking third in the PSAC in 3-pointers made (24) and fourth in free throw shooting percentage (.893). • Slippery Rock ranks second in the PSAC in both total rebounds per game (42.7) and offensive rebounds per game (15.6). • SRU also leads the PSAC in free throw shooting percentage (.790) and free throws made (162) as well as third in blocks per game (3.89), fourth in scoring (73.9) and fifth in field goal percentage defense (.363).

NOTES TO KNOW • Morgan Henderson has drastically increased her scoring production over the last three games. After averaging 4.5 points per game over The Rock’s first six games, Henderson has tallied 13 ppg in SRU’s most recent three games after three straight games with at least 10 points. • Henderson scored 13 points in the fourth quarter of The Rock’s win at Millersville. Since women’s basketball switched from halves to quarters in 2015-16 a Slippery Rock player has scored more than 13 points on just five occasions in 260 total quarters; Carpenter scored 15 points in a quarter three times and 14 twice. • Brooke Hinderliter leads The Rock in scoring (16.1 ppg), rebounding (6.7 rpg) and assists (2.7 apg) while shooting 44.1 percent from the field and 87.7 percent from the free throw line. Hinderliter ranks third in the PSAC in offensive rebounds per game (3.7) and 11th in scoring. • Krista Pietropola made her first start of the season against Millersville and responded with one of her best games of the season after going for 12 points on 5-of-6 shooting from the field and 2-for-2 from 3-point range in addition to grabbing five rebounds, making two steals and blocking one shot. • After scoring a total of just five points in the prior two games, Madison Johnson started to get back on track with an 11-point, ninerebound, two-steal effort at Millersville.
