Opening Remarks (Steve Fabian) • Steve Fabian welcomed everyone to the meeting. Babe Ruth (Bill Queen) • The Babe Ruth concession stand has been completed and the facility is in great shape. • Bill Queen purchased a number of items that were necessary to open the Babe Ruth stand. Bill gave Tom Carroll a listing of all the items that were purchased. • Bill Queen acknowledged Rob Oliva for all the electrical work that he put into the Babe Ruth concession stand, Mike Spooner for the time that he donated to install the Babe Ruth sprinkler system, and Billy Carlson for the work that he did installing the hot water heater. SNB extends a sincere thank you to each of these individuals for their assistance with the Babe Ruth program. • Bill Queen documented the expenses and income associated with the Babe Ruth concession stand year-to-date. • Bill Queen is looking for assistance with power-washing the siding on the concession stand as well as a couple of other areas at the Babe Ruth field.

Majors (Al Tomasco) • The Town Championship begins on Wednesday, June 17th at Southington North. The tournament will be double elimination. • The All-Star hats have arrived but a mistake was made and the hats arrived with an S instead of an N. Al Tomasco will have Herbs reorder new hats and communicate that the hats are needed by June 26th for the start of the All-Star tournaments. • Polo shirts have been ordered for the All-Star Managers. • The District 5 and Babe Ruth tournament teams will receive Southington North shirts with their names on the back. • The Bator Tournament will commence on July 18th . Minors (Carlos Gil) • The Minors post-season tournament is in progress and the final tournament game will be on Saturday, June 13th . The Board has approved an expense to pay for an umpire for this game. T-Ball & Farm (John Susi) • The weekend of June 20th will be the last weekend of play in T-Ball and Farm. All-Star Managers will need to keep this in mind when setting practice schedules. • The season has gone well and all games are up-to-date. Safety Officer (Kon John) • There have been four reportable incidents since the last meeting. Kon will work with the families involved to make sure that their claims are processed in a timely manner. • We have a good supply of ice packs in the Majors concession stand and in the Babe Ruth stand as well. • We are up-to-date with all of the background checks. Booster Club (Mary Etter) • The pictures were beautifully done this season. • The 12-Year Old Graduate Game went extremely well and everyone had a wonderful time. • Steve Fabian read a letter to the Board from an anonymous parent praising the work of Mary Etter and the Booster Club. Finance Report (Tom Carroll) • Tom Carroll sent a check to both Yalesville and Southington South (11-year old) for their post-season tournaments. • The Board voted to accept the Finance Report. Player Agent (Steve Viviano) • Steve Viviano submitted all rosters to Little League. Secretary (John Rogalski)

John Rogalski reported that three teams have sent in their registrations for the Bator Tournament. The checks have been given to Tom Carroll for deposit. Mary Etter will send out a blast for the banquet. Ticket prices will be $20 per adult and $5 per child for anyone who registers by June 30th . The cost for registrations received after June 30th will be $25 per adult and $10 per child.

New Business • June 15th is the announcement date for All-Star players. • June 24th is Affidavit Night at Nucci’s. • Steve Viviano will attend a rules night at the Giamatti Center on Friday, June 12th . • SNB must bring a check to Affidavit Night in the amount of $125 made out to John Fliss for a banquet for the post-season All-Star umpires. • The 9-10 tournament will run from June 27th – July 11th . One of the host sites will be Southington North. • The 10-11 tournament will run from June 26th – July 11th . The host site will be Southington West. • The 11-12 tournament will run from June 27th – July 11th . A number of sites will be given the opportunity to host games. • Steve Fabian opened up the floor to all of the All-Star Manager candidates.
