The Lightning Bolt Date: 09/12/2016 General: The 2016-2017 softball season kicked off yesterday with our annual Lightning Day. Congratulations goes out to Team BLAZE for winning this years competition. Members of Team Blaze are Emily Irwin, Kaitlyn Brown, Maddie Marshall, Sam Cordell, Gabrielle Smith, Shelby Autherson, Morgan Layne, Makayla Fain, Carlie Taggert, Alison Wodzisz, Kaitlyn Vaubel. NEW THIS YEAR: Looking for more timely communication? Sign up on the LC Lightning website Home Page to receive announcements via email or text, just input your email address and/or phone number and select SUBSCRIBE. Any communication that is added to the website will automatically be sent to your email or phone. Team App: Will be using Team App again this year. This is a great app that allows for easier, more timely, communication. The app can be used on android and iPhones, just download the app (it is free) and then search for LC Lightning. Once you have our team, request access and you will have access to schedules, team line ups, news, live scores, and more. The Fall Lightning Strikes Tournament (a tournament that LC Lightning is running), is being held on October 22 & 23 at Hoback Park in Heath. We will need everyone’s help to make this tournament a success. Specific focus committees have been established to help keep the tournament organized and ALL PARENTS are expected to help when their daughter(s) is not playing. Committees include concessions, field maintenance, check-in, etc.
