NY Grand Rapids Mch 26/63 My Dear Boy Yours of March 22nd was rece’vd today. When you write again I wish you to tell me when your next vacation occurs. I suppose about the first of July. If so I think you had better defer coming home until about that time. I have made arrangements with your uncle Fred3 to pay for all the things you will get while at Rochester. We should all be as glad to see you as you are desiring of seeing us. But if the next Vacation is as soon as I think it will be I have thought you had better not come home until that time. Fred4 is very anxious to have you come home - he wants to see you very much. You will get Mr. Pavsely’s5 Bill at the End of the Term and send it to me or have him. I can send the money. While you are at Rochester get all the things you require – Call on Ms Smith6. Edwin’s Mother7 & sister8 came last evening- they are both well. Mother9 is busy making a carpet. I have seen Mrs. Frost6 – she says she had an excelent [sic] visit at Mr. [ ]10. She says you are almost as large as I am. She also says Frank G11. will make a visit to Aurora with Willa12 & Ned13 before he comes home. You will have a good visit at Uncle John’s14 I hope. You must give my love to them. We are all well and send much love to you. From Father
